It's coming out next Monday. Someone posted the announcement a year ago, but I'm curious to find out how everyone feels now that the release is imminent. I'm skeptical, but I do plan on reading it. Just as soon as I finish Unseen Academicals, that is.

After hearing the stupid s**t this new author has had to say about this book, there is no way I'm going near it.

edit: although i will probably secretly buy and read it anyway because it's a Hitchhiker's Guide book and how could I not?

Pity it's entirely written by someone else. I don't think it's based on writings by Douglas Adams at all is it?
