Some NGOs say that this flick brings out the true picture - a view that is hidden by software wins of a few thousand people. This has lead to a decline in aid help that has not been completely plugged at home. Meaning 1/3 of the worlds hungry still live in India.

I saw the movie and enjoyed it. Different plot, the world from the view of a poor kid and his experiences.
