On Friday nights I had to be in bed by 10 pm. My mother would tuck me in, turn off the light, and close the door. I would lie under the covers until I heard her settled back into the living room. Then I would slide out of bed, tiptoe to the door, and quietly turn the lock.

I have a greater respect for JJ Abrams and the cast of the new Star Trek. They all went to Kuwait and spent Easter with the troops as well as showing the new Star Trek movie weeks before those in the US are able to see it.

Film goers attending a showing of Wrath of Kahn were told they'd see a 10-minute preview of the new Star Trek movie. About 2 minutes into the movie, the film seemed to melt. Leonard Nimoy then comes out and asks if they'd rather see the new movie instead.
