Why Zombies Make Better Horror Movies Than Vampires
Why Zombies Make Better Horror Movies Than Vampires
The battle of the undead on the big screen has been under way for some time now, and after months of hearing that vampires are taking over pop culture, it seems like we shouldn't quite put our friends the zombies (no, not those ones) down for the count. picked by yamz66 2 months ago

A well armed person can defeat an army of zombies, and work out some aggressions while doing so. You don't have to be smart, or sneaky, or anything. You just have to take their heads off!

Vampires, well... they require "equipment". And they're sneaky, playing dead and transforming and flying away.

I'll tell you exactly why people are so attracted to vampires.

Especially in the light of this next movie coming out.

Being friends with or becoming a vampire makes you special, and the fact that it's a big secret makes it even more special. And for some the ostracizing and fact that it's "bad" is even more of a draw.

Most people want (really all) want to do or be something different to stand out in the crowd in some way, not necessarily fame but something.

These movies play up to those fantasies.

I guess I see the point in thinking Zombies are more scary then vampires, but girls in general love "Bad Boys" for some reason so vampires will always win the battle over a zombies. Zombies just aren't lovable. You never see a zombie trying NOT to be a monster, but you do see vampires who don't want to be evil. Still doesn't make them less scary, but allows for some compassion towards them.
